Community Guidelines

These Guidelines apply to Story Room, Between Us, Ways of Desire, reviews, comments, brand interactions, customer communications, and future interactive features.
1. Be Respectful
Treat community members with dignity. Healthy disagreement is welcome; personal attacks are not.
2. Respect Different Bodies and Experiences
MakeMeMine welcomes diverse bodies, sizes, ages, abilities, backgrounds, gender identities, cultures, and life experiences.
Discrimination, harassment, or hateful conduct is prohibited.
3. Share Authentic Experiences
Be honest, speak from your own experience, respect privacy, and avoid misinformation. Reviews and stories should reflect genuine experience.
4. Keep the Community Safe
Prohibited content includes:
- Harassment and bullying
- Threats and hate speech
- Intimidation and stalking
- Doxxing and impersonation
- Spam and fraud
- Malware or malicious links
- Illegal activity
- Graphic violence
- Exploitative content
- Non-consensual intimate content
5. Respect Privacy
Do not share another person's personal, financial, medical, identification, contact, or confidential information without permission.
6. Story Room
Share only what you are comfortable making available. Avoid identifying others without consent. Do not use Story Room for emergency assistance or professional medical advice.
MakeMeMine may feature selected stories and may edit formatting or clarity while preserving intended meaning.
7. Between Us
Between Us is designed for respectful conversation. Repeated disruption, hostility, trolling, or inflammatory behaviour may result in moderation or account restrictions.
8. Ways of Desire
Submit only ideas, sketches, concepts, or inspiration you have the right to share. Do not upload confidential business information, trade secrets, or another person's protected content.
Submission does not guarantee production, licensing, or compensation.
9. Reviews
Reviews must not be misleading, written for undisclosed compensation, abusive, personally attacking, or promotional for unrelated businesses.
10. Intellectual Property
Share only content you created, own, or have permission to use.
11. Commercial Activity
Unauthorized advertising, solicitation, recruitment away from MakeMeMine, or repetitive promotion is prohibited. Approved brands may communicate in designated areas under their agreements.
12. Reporting Content
Reports should be made in good faith and contain enough information to investigate. Intentionally false reports may violate these Guidelines.
13. Moderation
MakeMeMine may review, remove, reformat, restrict, suspend, terminate, preserve, or report content or accounts where reasonably necessary.
14. Our Moderation Approach
MakeMeMine generally uses a three-level framework, while assessing each situation individually.
Level 1: Minor Violations
Examples include duplicate posts, off-topic discussion, excessive self-promotion, minor formatting issues, and repetitive or low-value content.
Possible actions include formatting edits, removal, reminders, or educational guidance.
Level 2: Serious Violations
Examples include harassment, bullying, repeated disruption, offensive language, hate speech, deliberate misinformation, and repeated policy violations.
Possible actions include removal, temporary restrictions, suspension, or formal warnings.
Level 3: Severe Violations
Examples include illegal content, threats of violence, child exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, fraud, impersonation, doxxing, malware, phishing, or repeated severe violations.
Possible actions include immediate removal, immediate suspension, permanent termination, preservation of evidence, and reporting to authorities where required.
MakeMeMine may bypass lower levels where immediate action is reasonably necessary.
15. Consequences
Depending on severity, frequency, impact, and context, MakeMeMine may issue a reminder, remove content, limit participation, temporarily suspend, permanently terminate, or take other reasonable protective action.
16. Changes
We may update these Guidelines as Services, community needs, or legal requirements change.
