This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be issued, how they are processed, and what customers may expect. It forms part of our Terms of Service and should be read with the Returns Policy.

1. Refund Eligibility

Eligibility depends on:

  • The reason for the request
  • The condition of the product
  • Participating-brand policies where applicable
  • Compliance with the Returns Policy
  • Applicable consumer-protection law

Not every return automatically qualifies for a refund.

2. When Refunds May Be Issued

Subject to applicable law, refunds may be available when:

  • An eligible returned item passes inspection.
  • An order is cancelled before shipment.
  • A product cannot be fulfilled.
  • An incorrect item was delivered.
  • A verified manufacturing defect exists.
  • A product arrives materially damaged.
  • A duplicate payment occurs.
  • A material pricing error results in cancellation before shipment.

Other circumstances may be considered at our discretion or where legally required.

3. Refund Method

Approved refunds are generally issued to the original payment method.

Where that is not possible, MakeMeMine may offer store credit, a replacement, or another lawful refund method. Availability may depend on the payment provider and applicable regulations.

4. Processing Time

After approval, MakeMeMine, the participating brand, or the payment provider will initiate the refund as soon as reasonably practicable.

Banks and payment providers may require additional time before funds appear. Timing varies by provider, country, currency, and holidays.

5. Shipping Charges

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless:

  • Required by law
  • The wrong item was shipped
  • The product was defective
  • The order could not be fulfilled because of an error attributable to MakeMeMine or a brand

Return-shipping costs are governed by the Returns Policy.

6. Partial Refunds

A partial refund may be appropriate where:

  • Only part of an order is returned.
  • Promotional discounts affected the purchase.
  • A bundle is partially returned.
  • Law permits or requires a partial refund.

7. Marketplace Orders

Refunds may be processed by MakeMeMine, a participating brand, or a payment provider depending on the transaction and fulfilment model. Customers may submit requests through MakeMeMine Customer Support for routing.

8. Non-Refundable Purchases

Unless required by law, refunds are generally unavailable for:

  • Gift cards
  • Clearly identified final-sale items
  • Products excluded under the Returns Policy
  • Products returned outside the applicable period
  • Items failing inspection because of use, wear, damage, or removed hygiene protections

9. Fraud Prevention

We may verify requests, ask for supporting information, delay processing during an investigation, or decline fraudulent or abusive claims.

Repeated abuse may result in account restriction or termination.

10. Chargebacks

Customers are encouraged to contact Customer Support before initiating a chargeback.

Where a chargeback is opened, we may provide relevant transaction information to the payment provider in accordance with law. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account action.

11. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded. Mandatory protections prevail where they provide greater rights.
